it took 3 days, 2 overtimes, 10 hrs of sleep, and 7 people spanning 4 countries to fix an unbalanced ledger caused by a misplaced negative sign. wow..sakit ng ulo ko man. this tested the mettle of our group. i will confess i gave up early on when we were looking for the solution for the ‘bug’ . Kumbinsido na ako na ang tanging paraan na maayos yung bug is to go back to cycle2. if they listened to me, then we would have wasted 2 weeks worth of data. good thing that the team focused on correcting the data rather than repeating the whole cycle. kudos to sir mani, mam yu hong, mam rina and mam jess. they really know their module well. I hope that i would learn as much as what these 4 people know and apply it to future situations like this one.
May napulot din akong kaalaman sa nangyari. ngayon meron na akong konting kaalaman sa GL EOD. at least hindi na ako ma left out pag ang usapan ay tungkol sa general ledger.
hay..sayang lang ang 3 araw. natapos ko na sana ung ibang sirs ko. hmm..di bale..mahaba pa ang stay ko dito. hehehe
